Jordan Farmar Joins New Jersey Nets
The Lakers guard Jordan Farmar has reached an agreement to join the New Jersey Nets.
NBA Championship title holder, the guard of the Los Angeles Lakers will sign with the worst franchise in the 2009/2010 season, the New Jersey Nets.
The two parties reached an agreement Sunday.
Farmar, 23, spent four years with the Lakers, and averaged 6.9 points and 2.1 assists in 18.1 minutes.
In related news, New Jersey Nets have already reached deals with Johan Petro and Travis Outlaw.
Anthony Morrow Joins New Jersey Nets
After signing Travis Outlaw, and failing in their attempt to sign Tyrus Thomas and Carlos Boozer, the Nets have announced the signing of Anthony Morrow (6 ft 5 in, 24 years), the Warriors’ super shooter.
With 13 pts at 46% 3-pointers, Morrow is one of the most interesting shooters on the market, and has accepted a 12 million contract over three years.
It is three times less than Outlaw… but the Nets most likely know what they are doing.
The Warriors will probably not align to the offer as they could, and Morrow will be officially a New Jersey player in a week.
